HJSIL® 300 Hydrophilic Fumed Silica

HJSIL® 300 is hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of 300 m2/g. It has strong rheological effect and used as a rheology modifier. HJSIL 300 is a best choice in molding silicone rubber or liquid silicone rubber.

Thixotropy:
HJSIL 300 is used as paint thickening agent, because it provides better thickening and thixotropic effects in polyesters, epoxies, and urethane resins.

Adding Strength:
HJSIL 300 can improves the elongation and tensile strength in silicone elastomers, HJSIL 300 with larger specific surface area also makes it possible to achieve excellent transparency in silicone rubbers.

Anti-settling effects:
HJSIL improves the suspension behavior in liquid systems, such as pigmented coatings or resins containing fillers.

Anti-caking:
effects for improved flow characteristics:Due to a property that makes it behave like ball bearings, HJSIL resists lumping and clogging. It can be used to improve the storage stability of powders that are especially prone to caking.

Thermal Insulation:
With its very low solid state conductivity and vast spacing between particles, HJSIL fumed silica provides excellent electrical resistivity and industrial thermal insulation.

PACKAGING

HJSIL® 300 is supplied in 10kg kraft paper bags. We recommend to store the product in closed containers under dry conditions and to protect the material from volatile substances.
